Bookkeeping and accounts

Our team posts your day-to-day entries in Tally Prime or Busy, the software we use. We manage your accounts payable and receivable, so you know who owes you and whom you owe. Every month we reconcile your bank account (BRS) and correct ledger errors before they grow.

We also keep your fixed asset register and depreciation schedule, prepare the trial balance, and send you a monthly profit and loss summary. If you want more detail, we prepare a simple MIS report that shows sales, expenses and cash position in one place.

Already have an accountant in your office? We can supervise their work, check entries every month and take over the filings and the year-end accounts.

GST returns and input tax credit

We handle your GST return filing and reconciliation every month: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, CMP-08 for composition dealers, and the annual GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C. Before every GSTR-3B, we match your input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B, so you claim only the credit your suppliers have actually reported. We file everything on the GST portal and keep the acknowledgements for you.

We also take care of e-invoicing where it applies, LUT for exporters and GST refund claims.

When a GST notice comes, we read it with you, collect the records and draft the reply. Our guide on how to reply to a GST notice explains the common notice types and time limits.

Starting a new business? We handle GST registration in Vikaspuri as well, and then move you straight into monthly filing.

TDS, TCS and payroll

If your business pays salary, rent, contractors or professionals, TDS applies. We get your TAN, work out TDS every month, and deposit it through challan 281. Every quarter we file your TDS returns on Form 138 (formerly 24Q, for salary), Form 140 (formerly 26Q) and Form 144 (formerly 27Q, for non-residents), using the Protean e-TDS system. We also issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A) to your employees and vendors.

For online sellers, we reconcile the TCS deducted by the marketplace with your sales.

On payroll, we prepare the monthly salary sheet and salary slips, work out TDS on salary, and file your PF and ESI challans and returns every month.

Year-end accounts, tax audit and ITR

At the end of the year, we close your books and prepare the final accounts:

  • Balance sheet and profit and loss account.
  • Tax audit under Section 63 (formerly Section 44AB) when your turnover crosses the limit.
  • Advance tax working through the year, so the final tax does not come as a surprise.
  • Income tax return filing in Vikaspuri for proprietors, partnership firms, LLPs and companies.
  • Annual ROC compliance for companies: AOC-4, MGT-7 and DIR-3 KYC.
  • Statutory audit under the Companies Act, 2013, where it applies.
  • Net worth and turnover certificates for banks, visas and tenders.
Client profile

Businesses in Vikaspuri we keep books for

Every business keeps money in a different way, so the books look different too.

Retailers, traders and small manufacturers

Retailers and traders are our largest group of clients in Vikaspuri, with small manufacturers a smaller share. Many have been with us for five years or more. A shop here takes cash, UPI and card payments every day, and gives credit to regular buyers. We record daily sales, track stock and supplier credit, and match GSTR-1 with GSTR-3B every month. This monthly check helps you avoid a common reason for GST mismatch notices. For manufacturers, we also track raw material, work in progress and finished stock.

Online sellers

We work with online sellers in Vikaspuri and Krishna Park Extension who sell on Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho. Each marketplace pays you after cutting commission, shipping charges and TCS, so the bank credit never matches the sale value. We break down each settlement report, book every charge correctly, and reconcile the TCS shown on the GST portal with your sales. If you ship to other states or hold more than one GSTIN, we file each registration separately.

Startups and private limited companies

Startups and service businesses often come to us when they register a company in Vikaspuri, and stay on for the regular work after that. A company has more filings than a shop: board meetings, minutes, INC-20A after incorporation, and the yearly ROC returns. We keep your books in order, send founders a monthly MIS report, and track every ROC and GST date for you.

Doctors, freelancers and other professionals

Doctors, consultants, designers and IT freelancers usually keep simpler books than a shop. Many of them can use presumptive tax under Section 58 (formerly Section 44ADA), which taxes a fixed share of gross receipts. We check if you qualify before you choose it. If you earn from clients abroad, we file your LUT for export of services and prepare Form 145 and Form 146 (formerly 15CA and 15CB) when money is sent out of India.

Outsource your accounting or hire an in-house accountant?

It depends on your volume of work. A full-time accountant suits a business with many entries every day. For most small shops, clinics and companies, an accounting firm is the simpler choice. A qualified team checks the work, tracks law changes and handles the year-end accounts and tax audit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What documents do I need to give my accountant every month?

Share your sales invoices, purchase bills and bank statements every month. Also send cash vouchers and expense bills. If we run your payroll, send the salary and attendance sheet. Online sellers should add their marketplace settlement reports. We give you a simple checklist on the first day, so you know exactly what to send and when.

Can you work with my existing in-house accountant?

Yes. Many of our clients keep a junior accountant for daily billing and cash entries. We check their entries every month, reconcile the bank, file GST and TDS returns, and prepare the year-end accounts. Your accountant keeps doing the daily work, and you get a CA review on top of it.

Do I need to visit your Vikaspuri office?

No. You can send bills and statements on WhatsApp or email, and we can talk on the phone or a video call. If you prefer to meet, our office is at DG-2/7B, First Floor, Vikaspuri, and it is open all 7 days. You can also drop your bills off in person.

Which accounting software do you work on?

Our team works on Tally Prime and Busy. If your books are already on one of these, we can usually continue in the same data file. If you are starting fresh, we set up your company in the software and keep the books for you every month.

Is a tax audit required for my business?

A tax audit under Section 63 (formerly Section 44AB) applies when business turnover is above Rs 1 crore. The limit is Rs 10 crore if cash receipts and cash payments each stay within 5% of the total. For professionals, the limit is Rs 50 lakh of gross receipts. We check your figures and tell you early.

What happens if I miss a GST return due date?

You pay a late fee for each day of delay, and interest on any tax paid late. You also cannot file the next return until the pending one is filed. If returns stay unfiled for a long period, the GST department can cancel your registration. We track every due date so your returns go on time.

Do you handle accounting for businesses outside Vikaspuri?

Yes. Our office is in Vikaspuri, but we keep books for businesses in Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar, Dwarka and across West Delhi. Clients outside Delhi work with us online, sharing documents on WhatsApp or email. The monthly process and the filings stay the same wherever you are.
